Access parameters

Find the POP, IMAP, SMTP, Webmail, and Control Panel parameters needed to access Qboxmail email services securely.

Access to POP, IMAP, and SMTP services is available to all Qboxmail users and always requires authentication with a username and password. For your security, Qboxmail requires access to services using the TLS protocol.

Warning

Qboxmail provides the services but does not handle the configuration and management of user-side devices and programs. It is therefore the customer's responsibility to ensure the correct configuration and troubleshooting of service settings for their users.

White Label access parameters

White Label access parameters are available for Resellers to set in users' email clients. Using White Label parameters removes any direct reference to Qboxmail. You can download the PDF file with the White Label Parameters (login required) for service access from the customer area after signing in.

Private Label access parameters

If you have purchased the Private Label service, you can customize the access parameters for POP, IMAP, and SMTP services by entering your domain name.
Private Label configuration is a project-based service and is not included in the service fee.

Allowed simultaneous sessions

In order to preserve and maintain a high level of service for all users, limits apply to the number of simultaneous connections via IMAP (50 allowed) and POP3 (10 allowed) that a single account can open from a specific IP address. This limit only applies when there is a high number of connections from the same username, while during normal use the user never notices the existence of this policy. If you reach this limit, you will receive an error in your email client and in Email log analysis you will be able to find evidence of this issue.
