WHMCS Configuration
Configure the Qboxmail WHMCS server module with API token, server settings, import options, and automation behavior.
4.1 Generating the API token in the Control Panel
For the next step, you need to generate a Qboxmail API token.
Log in to the Qboxmail Control Panel. Click the avatar in the top right and select “Settings”. Scroll to the bottom of the settings page to find “API Access”. Copy the token by clicking the “Copy” button.
4.2 Adding a new server in WHMCS
Go back to the WHMCS page.
From the selection menu in the top right, click the setup button and select System Setting. On the System Setting page, select “Servers” and click “Add new server”.
4.3 Server details
On the “Servers” page, go to the “Module” section and select "Qboxmail".
For “Hostname”, enter panel.emailpnl.com. Leave the “Username” and “Password” fields empty.
In the “Access Hash” window, paste the API token generated in the Qboxmail Control Panel and click the “Test Connection” button.
4.4 Server name
Once the connection to the Server has been confirmed, you will land on the settings page where you must choose and enter a name for the newly connected server. In this example, the name “Qboxmail” was chosen. Once the operation is complete, click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page.
4.5 Creating a server group
After connecting the Qboxmail server, you need to create a new server group and assign it to the Qboxmail server you just connected.
Click setup > System Setting > Servers > +Create a new group. You can choose any name for the server group; in the example, the name “Qboxmail – Group” was chosen.
IMPORTANT: Once you have chosen the name, you must select the server created in step 4.3 and move it to the right-hand column using the “Add” button. Save the changes by clicking "Save Changes".
