Configure Qboxmail email, contacts, and calendars in Microsoft Mail, People, and Calendar for Windows.
In this guide, we will configure the Mail, People, and Calendar apps included in Windows 10 to access the email, address book, and calendar services provided by Qboxmail.
This way, you can keep the email, address book, and calendars available in Webmail synchronized with Windows 10. New contacts or events created in Webmail will also be visible from Windows 10 and vice versa.

Requirements
- An active email mailbox on Qboxmail
- A domain with a Professional or Enterprise plan to access the Address Book and Calendar sharing services
- Windows 10
- Microsoft Mail
Compatibility
Microsoft Mail has been available in Windows since version 8 and can be used with all plans and all mailboxes on the Qboxmail platform.
Email configuration
To configure your Qboxmail email account in Microsoft Mail, you need to use the POP or IMAP protocols to receive messages and SMTP to send them.
- In the side menu, click Accounts
- In the window that opens on the screen, click Add account
- Select Advanced setup
- Click Internet email
In the configuration window that opens, enter the connection settings for the email account you want to configure:
- Email address: email address to configure
- User name: same as the email address
- Password: the account password
- Account name: an identifier for the account you entered
- Send your messages using this name: name to display in the sender field
- Incoming email server: imap.qboxmail.com
- Account type: IMAP4
- Outgoing (SMTP) email server: smtp.qboxmail.com
After checking that all the other options are selected, click Sign in.
White Label access parameters are available for Resellers to set in users’ email clients. By using White Label parameters, all direct references to Qboxmail will be removed. You can download the PDF with the White Label Parameters (login required) for accessing the services from the customer area after signing in.
