Managing log visibility
Following current Italian regulations on the retention of business email metadata, you can configure how long mailbox logs remain visible directly from the Control Panel.
Configuring log visibility
You can choose between two options:
- 21 days
- 30 days
How to configure log duration
For existing domains
The default setting remains 30 days. If you want to apply the 21-day limit to one or more domains, you can do so by changing the domain settings in the Control Panel: Domains → Security → TraceMail log visibility
To make a bulk change across all your domains, contact our support team.
For new domains
New domains will automatically follow the setting configured by your Administrator account → Administration → Settings -> General -> TraceMail log visibility for new domains (21 or 30 days, depending on what you have set).
During domain creation, this setting will not be visible, but it can be changed later.
