Email DeliveryManagement

Multi-level

Delegate Qboxmail Email Delivery management with multi-level roles, resource assignments, and controlled permissions.

Multi-level management in the Control Panel lets customers safely delegate day-to-day management of email accounts and domains, both inside and outside the organization. With customizable roles, you can assign permissions based on operational needs, improve collaboration, and keep access secure.

Administrator

The Administrator role is used by the Qboxmail customer or Reseller to manage all active resources and create users who can manage all or part of the active services.

Team Member

A Team Member is a collaborator of the Administrator, usually an internal company user. Team Members can access company resources without visibility into sensitive information, such as prices or billing details.

Who can create a Team Member?

A Team Member can only be created by the Administrator.

What can a Team Member do?

A Team Member can manage all domains and accounts within the limits set by the Administrator.

With this role, you can:

  • View and manage all customer resources, including domains and email accounts, within the limits set by the Administrator.
  • Perform operations such as creating, editing, and deleting email accounts.
  • Customize permissions so the Administrator controls which actions the Team Member can perform.
Info

The Administrator retains full control over the resources and decides which operations to allow, ensuring secure and targeted access to the Control Panel features.

Manager

A Manager is a reseller or external collaborator who manages specific company resources without full access to all customer information. This role is ideal for delegating operations securely with limited access.

Who can create a Manager?

Only an Administrator with reseller status can create, activate, or deactivate a Manager. An authorized Team Member can also do this.

What can a Manager do?

A Manager can manage specific domains and their associated accounts. A Manager can:

  • Manage email accounts, domains, and associated mailboxes.
  • Perform domain and account imports and migrations.
  • Access monitoring tools such as Tracemail and audit reports.
  • Manage email sending without viewing prices or billing information.
Info

The Administrator can set limits on the resources a Manager can manage, such as the maximum number of email accounts or the number of sends allowed for each domain.

Resource assignment

When assigning a Manager or Team Member role, the Control Panel lets you select the resources, such as email accounts and domains, that the role can access. For Email Delivery management, all resources linked to an account are automatically assigned, ensuring full visibility and control over connected resources.
