Add an archive

Add archive to a domain

To add the archive service to a domain, head to the Archive entry in the control panel sidebar, click on the + Archive button, and complete the activation procedure steps. Once the procedure is completed, the archive will be active on the email accounts of the domain you have selected and all new messages received and sent by these accounts will be automatically archived.

Step 1 - New archive

Choose the domain and the email accounts to activate the archive.

  1. Select the domain that you want to activate the archive for;
  2. Select the email accounts you want to archive.

The number of email accounts whose messages you can archive may vary according to the limits set by your admin or service plan.

Step 2 - Archive storage

Set the default storage period (1 to 10 years) for email accounts with archives.

Messages whose receipt/sending date exceeds the chosen storage period will be automatically deleted from the archive.

Step 3 - Archive new accounts

Choose whether to automatically activate the archive for new email accounts that will be added to the domain.

The number of email accounts that you can activate an archive for varies according to the limits set by your admin or service plan.

Step 4 - New archive summary

To complete the procedure, click on the Activate button. Once the creation procedure has been completed, the email accounts with archive will be visible in your email account list with archive.

The additional cost of accounts with active archive will be calculated based on the type of billing chosen for your account.

Add archive to one or more email accounts

To add the archive service to one or more email accounts in a domain with an already active archive, click on the Archive entry in the control panel sidebar. Enter the detail of the domain that you want to add the email account to by clicking on the name of the domain, click on the + Email account button and complete the steps of the creation procedure. Once the procedure is completed, email accounts will be visible in your email account list.

  • Archive > Domain name > + Email account

Step 1 - New archive

Choose the email accounts to activate the archive.

The number of email accounts where archives can be activated may vary according to the limits set by your admin or service plan.

Step 2 - New archive summary

To complete the procedure, click on the Activate button. Once the creation procedure has been completed, the email accounts with archive will be visible in your email account list.

The additional cost of accounts with active archive will be calculated based on the type of billing of your account.
