Add delegate

Add a Qboxmail Archive delegate and assign access to archived email accounts with the correct permissions.

To add a delegate, click Archive and then Delegates in the Control Panel sidebar, click the + Delegate button, and complete the steps in the creation procedure. Once the procedure is complete, the delegate will be visible in your list of delegates.

Step 1 - New delegate

Enter the details of the user who will use the account.

  1. Enter the first name of the user who will use the account.
  2. Enter the last name of the user who will use the account.
  3. Enter the name of the company the user who will use the account belongs to.
  4. Enter the email address of the user who will use the account.

Step 2 - Time limits

Set the user's time limits for accessing the archive.

  1. Set an expiration date for the user's account.
  2. Set a time range for the user to view the content.

Step 3 - Content access

Set the user's access limits for the archive content.

  1. Select the domain that the accounts the user will be able to view belong to.
  2. Select the email accounts the user will be able to view and choose which content to make visible:
SubjectThe delegate can see only the sender / recipient, subject, and date of account messages.
AllThe delegate can see the full content of account messages.
IgnoreThe delegate is not authorized to view the account content.

You can authorize the delegate to view accounts from multiple domains.

Step 4 - Delegate creation summary

To complete the procedure, click the Create button. Once the delegate creation procedure is complete, the delegate will be visible in your list of delegates.
