Delegate

Understand Qboxmail Archive delegates, their access limits, and how they work with archived email accounts.

Who is the Delegate?

The Delegate is a user authorized to access the email archive of one or more accounts within specific limits. The delegate’s account is personal and must be treated as such.

Who can appoint a Delegate?

The delegate can be appointed by an Admin, a Team member, or a Manager authorized to enable archives.

Info

To create a delegate, you must have an email account with an active archive.

What functions does the Delegate have?

The delegate can access part or all of the archive content of one or more email accounts in order to carry out internal audits or actions related to company protection. The delegate’s access to the archive can be limited in time, and the time range of the messages visible to them can also be restricted. All activities performed by the Delegate are tracked in a dedicated activity log (AuditLog).
