General

Settings and limits for the Postmaster account.

Sending limits

Change the maximum number of email messages that can be sent daily by the postmaster.

Info

Increasing the maximum number of messages that can be sent by an email account increases the cost.

Services

Modify the services* available for the postmaster, set during creation:

  • POP access
  • IMAP access
  • SMTP access
  • Webmail access
  • Microsoft® Exchange ActiveSync
  • DAV access

*The available services vary depending on the domain’s general settings.

Other

*Service availability varies depending on the domain’s general settings.

Security

Security settings for the Postmaster account.

Password

Set the policies related to the use of access passwords for the postmaster.

  • Set a new password for the postmaster.
  • Require a mandatory password change every 3, 6, or 12 months.
  • Block reuse of old passwords.
  • Disable password change.
  • Disable password recovery.
  • Force password change at the next account login.

OTP authentication

Require the use of two-factor authentication (OTP) for the postmaster.

Allowed IPs

Restrict access to the postmaster’s POP, IMAP, SMTP, Webmail, and API services only to the IP addresses you consider secure and trusted. You can specify up to 10 IP addresses / classes; all connections from IPs not included in the list will not be authorized.

API access

Choose whether the Postmaster can access the API.

Email sender restrictions

Restrict the sender (From) of email messages to the exact authentication username. This prevents the mailbox owner from sending messages on behalf of other users in the organization.

Autoresponder

Set an automatic reply to all messages received by the postmaster for the time interval you prefer.

Webmail

Localization

Define the Webmail localization settings this user will see. The user can then change them independently from the Webmail settings.

Signature and identity

Manage identities connected to the primary email address and email aliases associated with the user. You can customize the display name and signature for each email address. This information lets the user send messages with names and email addresses different from their own.

Company Address Book

Choose whether this user should be hidden from the Company Address Book.
