Customization

Customization allows you to change the appearance of the control panel, the webmail and the mail time machine, with a dedicated logo and company name for your users, both globally (general customization) and for a single domain (customization by domain).

With our customization options, you can associate your domain to a logo, which will appear in the login screen of the control panel, of the webmail, and of the mail time machine, while the company name will be used to construct the title of the web page.

When working on the webmail customizating features, the panel can generate a preview of how the webmail will appear to users, so that you can be see it before choosing to save it.

Activate a general customization

The general customization is applied to all the domains present on the control panel, if there isn't a specific personalization for the single domain.

Only one general customization can be entered.

To activate a general customization, click on the item Customization in the control panel sidebar, then select the General item from the tabs proposed and click on the + Personalization button.

• Customization > General > + Customization

1. Enter the name of your company;
2. Enter a link to redirect to customer support;
3. Upload your logo;
4. Check in the preview that the logo and name are displayed correctly;
5. Complete the procedure by clicking on the button Create.

The logo must be in JPG, JPEG, PNG or SVG format and have a maximum size of 480 x 96 pixels. Smaller images will be scaled automatically to fit.

The use of illegal or copyrighted images is strictly prohibited.

Activate a customization by domain

Customization by domain is applied to one or more specific domains.

The logo customization by domain is only available in the Professional and Enterprise plans.

To activate a customization by domain click on the item Customization in the control panel sidebar. Then, select the entry By domain from the tabs proposed and click on the + Customization button.

• Customization > By domain > + Customization

1. Select the domains that you want to customize;
2. Enter the name of your company;
3. Enter a link to redirect to customer support;
4. Upload your logo;
5. Check the preview and see if the logo and name are displayed correctly;
6. Complete the procedure by clicking on the button Create.

Change a general customization

To change a general customization, click on the Customizations item in the control panel sidebar. Then, select the General item from the present tabs, click on the button More ![MoreIcon] (/images/moreIcon.png) in correspondence of the customization aspect that you want to modify, and select the Modify item in the menu.

• Customizations > General > Other > Edit

Change a customization by domain

To change a customization by domain, click on the Customization item in the control panel sidebar. Then, select the item For domain from the proposed tabs, click on the button More in correspondence with the customization you want to modify, and select the Modify item from the menu.

• Customizations > By domain > Other > Edit

Delete a general customization

To delete a general customization, click on the item Customizations in the control panel sidebar. Then, select the General item from the tabs proposed, click on the button More in correspondence of the customization aspect that you want to delete, and select the Delete menu item. Finally, confirm the operation by clicking on the button Delete within the modal.

• Customization > General > Other > Delete > Delete

The procedure of deleting a general customization is irreversible.

Delete a customization by domain

To delete a customization by domain, click on the item Customization in the control panel sidebar. Then, select the item For domain from the tabs proposed and click on the button More in correspondence with the customization that you want to delete. To complete the procedure, select the Delete item and confirm the operation by clicking on the Delete button within the modal.

• Customizations > By domain > Other > Delete > Delete

The procedure of deleting a customization by domain is irreversible.
