Team members

Who is the team member?

The Team member is the Admin's collaborator and is generally an internal member of the company.

Who can appoint a team member?

The Team member can only be created by the Admin.

What does the team member do?

The Team member has access to the management of all domains and accounts present within the limits assigned to him by the Admin.

List of team members

The list of team members includes all the team members present in Qboxmail systems belonging to a Admin with the related detailed information. To view the list of team members, click on the Team entry in the control panel sidebar.

Information in the team member list:

  • Status of the team member.
  • Name of the team member.
  • Team member code.

Adding a team member

To add a team member click on the Team item in the control panel sidebar and click on the + Team member button and complete the steps of the creation procedure. Once the procedure is completed the team member will be visible on your list of team members.

Step 1 - New team member

Enter the details of the user who will use the account.

  1. Enter the name of the user who will use the account.
  2. Enter the lastname of the user who will use the account.
  3. Enter the email address of the user who will use the account.
  4. Choose a password to log in to the account*.

*You can generate a password automatically and randomly.

Step 2 - Domain management

Set permissions for managing domains to be assigned to team members.

  1. Authorize the team member to view domains.
  2. Authorize the team member to create new domains.
  3. Authorize the team member to deactivate / reactivate domains.
  4. Authorize the team member to delete domains.
  5. Authorize the team member to manage managers.

Step 3 - Account management

Set permissions for managing accounts to be assigned to team members.

  1. Authorize the team member to modify the accounts.
  2. Authorize the team member to create new accounts.
  3. Authorize the team member to deactivate / reactivate accounts.
  4. Authorize the team member to delete accounts.
  5. Authorize the team member to change passwords to accounts.

Step 4 - Archive management

Sets the permissions for the management of the archives to be assigned to the team member.

  1. Authorize the team member to view the archives.
  2. Authorize the team member to activate new archives.
  3. Authorize the team member to deactivate / reactivate archives.
  4. Authorizes the team member to delete archives.
  5. Authorize the team member to manage delegates.

Step 5 - Analysis and security tools

Set permissions for access to analysis tools to be assigned to the team member.

  1. Authorize the team member to view ETLive.
  2. Authorize the team member to view the Registry.
  3. Authorize the team member to access via API.

To complete the procedure click on the Create button. Once the team member creation process is complete this will be visible on your team member list.

To change the settings of a team member click on the name of the team member, in the list of team members, which you intend to modify.

  • Team > Team member name

  3. Authorize the team member to access via API.

Authorize team member to access via API.

Security

Change the password for access to the team member control panel.

Deactivate / reactivate a team member

To deactivate a team member, in the list of team members click on the button More MoreIcon corresponding to the team member you want to deactivate and select the item Deactivate of menu.

  • Team member > Team name member > Other MoreIcon > Disable

By deactivating a team member, he will no longer be able to access the control panel and will no longer be able to manage the domains and accounts assigned to it.

To reactivate a team member, in the list of team members click on the button More MoreIcon corresponding to the team member you want to reactivate and select the item Reactivate of the menu.

  • Team member > Team name member > Other MoreIcon > Reactivate

By reactivating a team member, he will be able to access the control panel and continue to manage the domains and accounts assigned to it.

Delete a team member

To delete a team member from the team member list, click on the button More MoreIcon corresponding to the team member you want to delete and select the Delete menu item, confirming the operation by clicking on the Delete button within the modal.

  • Team member > Team name member > Other MoreIcon > Delete

Deleting a team member will eliminate the corresponding account and the authorizations assigned to it, but any managers, domains and accounts created by it will not be deleted.

The operation of eliminating a team member is irreversible.
